What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is available via secure video platforms used by mental health professionals and their clients to conduct therapy sessions remotely. Never miss another session again! Whether you are going on vacation, moving away or simply can’t make it into our office, telehealth allow you to continue your sessions with online therapy in a secure, HIPAA-compliant environment.

Don’t worry- No need to spend money on additional hardware. All you need is a computer or phone with an internet connection. BEST of all, telehealth works on both phone, Mac & PC! Telehealth platforms run right in your browser window and work on most browsers – Chrome, Microsoft, Firefox, or Safari.

Clients who do well with coaching or therapy by telehealth tend to be:

Very busy: Telehealth enables clients to save time commuting to and from our office by having therapy online.

Highly motivated: In-person visits are encouraged because our office is free of distractions for you. If you choose to have a session online, you will need a private, quiet place free of distractions.

Able to create privacy for themselves: Our office is a private space where confidentiality is assured. If you have therapy over telehealth, you will need to ensure that your space gives you appropriate privacy.

Forward-thinking: Therapy and coaching via telehealth are growing in popularity. Many people who may not have had access to top-notch therapists  are now able to work with highly trained, upper-echelon professionals now that telehealth makes this available right in your living room. Many people with busy schedules or who suffer from shyness find video therapy and coaching makes it possible for them to get support at the time and place that is most convenient.
